芝加哥大學的Booth蟬聯第一名。芝大在近四年的排名都維持在前三名。主要原因是芝大MBA就業表現令人驚豔，就業分佈的產業廣，且平均的基礎薪資達到$115,000，比念MBA前多了66%，理所當然學生在對授課內容、同學以及學校提供的生涯規劃上，都給了很高分。美國學校佔了前四名，且在前25名中奪取16席。

儘管其國內的經濟環境很艱困，歐洲第一名的是西班牙IESE。IESE讓學生可以找到好工作，這些工作大多在國外。昆士蘭是這些區域以外排名最佳的學校，而亞洲最佳的香港大學，排名也大幅攀升。香港大學首次進入前25名，主要是因為薪水幅度的進展以及其學生對課程的良好評價。

這是經濟學人第十一年做這個排名了。每年我們問學生，為何他們決定要念MBA。我們根據學生說哪些情重要，來決定項目的權重。四個主要類別是：開創新的職涯機會(35%)；個人發展/教育經驗(35%)；薪資增加(20%)；拓展人脈的潛力(10%)。我們整理的的這些數字是綜合的實際數據，以及各校學生提供的主觀意見。整體排名請見此連結。
